PalmSens MultiEmstat4

The MultiEmstat4 incorporates 8 x individual Emstat4 potentiostats, each with EIS and galvanostat in a single compact chassis. The Emstat4 channels can be operated independently or in synchronised, multichannel experiments using PalmSens’s MultiTrace Software.  The system may also be used as a polypotentiostat: multiple WE’s vs one CE and RE. (more)

Each channel is an independent Emstat4 potentiostat. Options are available for galvanic isolation (for “floating” operation. )

The MultiEmstat4 is available in either 8 channel or 12 channel versions and each of those is available in either High Range (HR) or Low Range (LR) versions.  See comparison table below.

** Synchronizing channels in Synched mode

By enabling synchronization of channels and adjusting the setup of your cables, you can use the MultiEmStat4 as a polypotentiostat. This means you can use multiple working electrodes, one counter and one reference electrode in the same cell at the same time. Your working electrodes all perform the same measurement
